1. Our Mission & Your Agreement

AdvertGhana.com (“Platform”, “We”, “Us”) is Ghana’s marketplace dedicated to promoting and selling authentic Made-in-Ghana goods and products. By creating a Vendor Account, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all laws of the Republic of Ghana. If you do not agree, do not register.

2. Vendor Eligibility

2.1. You must be 18+ years and a Ghanaian citizen, resident, or legally registered business in Ghana.
2.2. Made-in-Ghana Requirement: All products listed must be substantially produced, manufactured, grown, or crafted in Ghana. Reselling imported finished goods as “Made-in-Ghana” is prohibited.
2.3. Required for verification: Ghana Card/TIN, business certificate, GPS address, active Ghana phone number, and sample product photos.
2.4. We reserve the right to inspect, verify, or request proof of origin before approving your account.

3. What You Can Sell

3.1. Allowed: Garments, textiles, food products, shea butter, cocoa products, crafts, furniture, EV cars assembled in Ghana, real estate in Ghana, and other Ghana-made goods/services.
3.2. Prohibited: Imported goods misrepresented as local, counterfeits, illegal items, hate speech, political propaganda, used undergarments, and any item banned by FDA Ghana or Ghana Standards Authority.
3.3. Labeling: Each listing must clearly state region of production in Ghana. Ex: “Handwoven Kente – Bonwire, Ashanti Region”.

4. Listing Standards

4.1. Use clear photos of the actual product. No stock images unless you own the rights.
4.2. Prices must be in Ghana Cedis (GHS) and include VAT if applicable.
4.3. Descriptions must be truthful. No exaggerated claims like “cures all diseases”.
4.4. AdvertGhana.com may feature, edit for clarity, or remove listings that don’t meet Made-in-Ghana standards.
4.5. “Proudly Ghanaian” Badge: Verified vendors get a badge after manual review. Misuse = permanent ban.

5. Fees & Payments

5.1. Listing Fees: Basic listings are free. “Made-in-Ghana Spotlight” ads start from GHS 15/day.
5.2. Commission: For sales completed via our escrow/checkout, a 7% commission supports platform operations and Ghana producer training programs.
5.3. Payouts: Paid weekly to your Mobile Money or Ghana bank account, minus fees.
5.4. No Refunds on ad fees once campaign is live.

6. Vendor Obligations

6.1. Ship/deliver within time stated. Delays over 72 hours must be communicated to buyer.
6.2. Honor all warranties and return policies. Minimum: 3-day return for defective items.
6.3. Respond to buyer messages within 24 hours. Accounts with <60% response rate may be demoted.
6.4. Comply with GRA tax, FDA, and GSA regulations. You are responsible for all taxes on your sales.
6.5. Promote Ghana positively. No disparaging other Ghanaian producers or regions.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You must NOT:
7.1. List foreign goods as Made-in-Ghana. First offense = GHS 500 fine + 30-day suspension. Second = permanent ban.
7.2. Divert buyers off-platform to avoid commission after initial contact via AdvertGhana.com.
7.3. Post fake reviews or pay for ratings.
7.4. Use the platform for political campaigns or fundraising.

8. Quality Control & Disputes

8.1. We conduct random product origin audits. You must provide supplier invoices if requested.
8.2. Buyer complaints about non-Ghanaian goods will trigger investigation within 48 hours.
8.3. AdvertGhana.com may mediate disputes but is not liable for vendor-buyer transactions.
8.4. Repeated quality complaints = removal from “Proudly Ghanaian” program.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1. You guarantee you own or license all images, logos, and content uploaded.
9.2. By posting, you give AdvertGhana.com license to feature your products in marketing Ghana-made goods locally and internationally.
9.3. Kente, Adinkra, and other cultural symbols must be used respectfully and lawfully.

10. Account Suspension & Termination

10.1. We may suspend accounts for: selling imports as local, fraud, 3+ unresolved disputes, or inactivity >6 months.
10.2. You may appeal within 14 days via [email protected].
10.3. On termination, listings are removed in 7 days. Outstanding payouts will be processed minus penalties.

11. Limitation of Liability

11.1. AdvertGhana.com provides the platform “as is”. We don’t guarantee sales or traffic.
11.2. Not liable for indirect losses. Total liability capped at fees you paid us in past 60 days.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Ghanaian law. Disputes shall be handled by Accra Commercial Courts.

13. Updates

We’ll email vendors 14 days before major changes. Continued use = acceptance.
